Managing affiliations

Affiliations are managed in the organization chart, in the Structure section of the client’s submission form. Open the form from the dashboard and press Start editing the form — the affiliation controls only appear in editing mode, and only for signed-in dashboard users.

  1. In the organization chart, press New affiliated company.

  2. Choose the Type: legal entity or natural person. Pick carefully — the type is fixed once created.

  3. Fill in what you know. For a legal entity: company name, legal name, legal form, country of statutory seat, establishment date, industry, website, phone number and address. For a natural person: name, birth date, nationality and address. Every field is optional — an affiliation can start as just a name and grow later.

  4. Optionally upload supporting documents: chamber of commerce extract, deed of incorporation, shareholders register, directors register.

  5. Save. The new company appears as a standalone (floating) node next to the structure.

A standalone affiliated company can be connected to show where the connection sits:

  1. Open the node’s Connect to a parent action.

  2. Choose the parent: the client company, a legal-entity shareholder in the structure, or another standalone affiliated company.

  3. Optionally enter the ownership percentage — this stays optional, and you can add or change it later by editing the connected node.

Affiliated legal entities can get their own directors: use Add director on the company’s node. The dialog is the same as for an affiliated company (a director can be a person or a legal entity); directors never carry a percentage.

  • Unlink detaches a connected affiliated company from its parent — including everything connected underneath it — and turns it back into a standalone node. Nothing is lost: the parties stay in the Affiliations list. Directors cannot be unlinked, only deleted.
  • Delete permanently removes an affiliation and its entire subtree — every affiliated company and director underneath it. The confirmation dialog lists exactly what else will be removed, so read it before confirming. Any active screening monitoring for the deleted parties is switched off automatically.
