What are affiliations?

Not everything that matters to a client file is part of the ownership chain. A shareholder may own another business on the side; that business has its own directors. These connections can be relevant for the compliance picture — and for screening — without the people and companies involved ever becoming shareholders, UBOs or directors of the client itself.

For these cases BECCO E-gaming has affiliations: affiliated companies and affiliated directors that your team records alongside the ownership structure.

Affiliations are managed by your team

Affiliated companies and directors are created and maintained by dashboard users only — your client never fills in a form for them, and parties cannot add them through the portal. See Managing affiliations for the how-to.

Where you see them

• The organization chart — affiliated companies and directors appear in the chart with their own “Affiliated” entry in the legend. A newly created affiliated company floats next to the structure until you connect it to a parent; an affiliation without a name shows as “Unnamed party”.
• The party list — on the client’s Information tab, affiliations get their own Affiliations group, separate from the ownership tree. For each one you can see and manually set the PEP and Sanction hit indicators, and open its screening reports. Affiliations have no party status — the status column stays empty for them.
• The organization chart export — affiliated entities are included in the visual chart export from the UBO tab.

How affiliations differ from regular parties

Affiliations are context, not KYC subjects. Compared to regular parties:

The one thing affiliations fully take part in is screening — that is usually the reason to record them in the first place.
